Three of the four songs from Kartoot in my collection were composed for the film.
And the man who did that was Anisadh.
One of those tracks, aptly, was
titled Kanoon, and it was three minutes and 55 seconds long.
One can run from the long arm of the
law, but cannot hide.
Unfortunately, Shahid Mallya – who
sang the aforementioned song – happens to share his last name with a man who
did just that.
Maybe the former was trying to warn
the likes of the latter in the song, which was written by Irshad Khan Sikandar.
