Alphabetically, the second of the six tracks on the soundtrack of Qala was Nirbhau Nirvair.
When I listened to
it, it reminded me of something I had last read in middle school (except for
the fact that those were just poems, and this was set to music).
And then it made
sense – one of the two people who wrote it was Sant Kabir.
The other was
Anvita Dutt, who also happened to be the director (and writer) of the film.
The song was a
Shahid Mallya solo.
The man who
composed it was Amit Trivedi.
