Therefore, India
was 11 days away from observing its 73rd Republic Day (January 26,
2023).
But Azaadi
– the second of the eight tracks on the soundtrack of Kuttey – was a
song that could be translated to, “Independence”.
It was the second
contribution of Sukhwinder to the soundtrack of the film (which released a
couple of days before I wrote this post).
And it was the
Sing(h)er’s solo.
Gulzar wrote the
song, which was composed by Vishal Bhardwaj.
It was four-and-a-half minutes long.
