Is the recreated version of Leke Pehla Pehla Pyaar the final nail in the coffin of Hindi film music?
I certainly hope so, because that is a trend that would
flummox even the most seasoned investigator in the C.I.D. (which,
incidentally, was the 1956 film on whose soundtrack the aforementioned track
originally was).
The recreated version of the track was the shortest of
the six songs from Kya Meri Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai? – it was two minutes
and 54 seconds long.
Jassie Gill and Simran Kaur sang the Avvy Sra
composition, which Happi Raikoti penned.
