D’Evil is the stage name of Dhaval Parab, a rapper who was credited with a couple of tracks from Toofaan.
The shorter of those was Todun Taak* – it was
three minutes and seven seconds long.
His involvement in it wasn’t restricted to singing it,
but he wrote it as well.
It was the only contribution of composer Dub Sharma
(a.k.a. Siddharth Sharma) to the soundtrack of the film.
(*Note: Todun Taak is a Marathi phrase, which
could be translated to, “Break”. Incidentally, the song happened to be his
first break in the Hindi film industry.)
