The remake has struck back!
And, this time, it was the title track of Chandigarh
Kare Aashiqui.
It was the recreated version of the song of the same
name, which was on Jassi Sidhu’s album, which was titled Aashiqui, and
released in 2004
The Birmingham-born singer of Punjabi descent was
joined behind the microphone by I P Singh (who was also credited with penning
this version), Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya.
The film version of the song was the shortest song in
the film – it was just a couple of minutes and 33 seconds long.
