The shortest song on the soundtrack of Shiddat was Jug Jug Jeeve – it was three minutes and 19 seconds long.
That could literally be translated to, “Live for
ages”. It was the wish for a long life.
And there’s no two ways about the fact that that was
what the fans of Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya wished them.
After all, their contribution to the song was not
restricted to composing it, but they were among the quartet who rendered it as
well.
The others were the Tandons (Sachet and Parampara).
Kausar Munir wrote it.
