If the four songs from Major in my collection were arranged in the alphabetical order, as well as in the descending order of their durations, Saathiya would be the second of those – it was just a couple of minutes and 57 seconds long.
It was the only
solo on the soundtrack of the film – it was rendered by Javed Ali.
The song was one
of Ritesh Rajwada’s two contributions to the film’s soundtrack.
It was composed by
Sricharan Pakala (who is primarily noted for his work as a music director in
the Telugu film industry).
