As the title of the film suggests, Holy Cow is a social satire about the adult female bovine.
And said animal, which is considered
sacred in India, inspired one of the three songs from the film in my
collection.
It was titled Gaiya Kahaan (which
could be translated to, “Where is the cow?”)
It was the second contribution of Rev
Shergill to the film's soundtrack.
But unlike Bulleya, it
was totally a Shergill show*.
(*Note: Not only was he the person
who composed and lent his voice to the song, but he penned it too.)
