Waat lagana is a phrase used in Mumbai.
It could be
translated to, “To be (or put someone) in big trouble” (depending on the
context).
If the four songs
from the film in my collection were arranged in the alphabetical order, as well
as in the descending order of their durations, Waat Laga Denge would be
the last – it was just a minute and 26 seconds long.
It was sung by
Vijay Deverakonda.
And contrary to
the title, unki hi waat lag gayi.
Puri Jagannadh,
the film’s director, wrote the song, which Sunil Kashyap composed.
