Nandini recreated yet another (Chi)track

If Jagjit Singh’s two contributions to the soundtrack of Chote Nawab were arranged in the alphabetical order, Raat Bhi Neend Bhi would be the second.

In fact, it would be the last of the four songs in the film.

Yet again, Nandini Srikar stepped into the huge shoes of the legendary Chitra Singh.

The man who wrote the song was born Raghupati Sahay in Gorakhpur on August 28, 1896.

And the pseudonym he adopted was Firaq Gorakhpuri.

He died in New Delhi, following a prolonged illness, at the age of 85 on March 3, 1982.
