The sixth (and final) song on the soundtrack of Shastry Viruddh Shastry was Sangacchadhwam (because I had rechristened Tu Hai Jugnu Tu Hai Taara to inadvertently ‘promote’ it to the third spot, so to speak).
That track happened to be the second contribution of
Ekorshi Sengupta to it.
As far as the lyrics of the song was concerned, it was
a traditional song.
But three people were associated with its composition.
One of them was the one and only Rabindranath Tagore.
The second was another two-track man, Prabuddha
Banerjee.
And the third was Upali Chattopadhyay.
