Khan and Sengupta sang it

When Shastry Viruddh Shastry released, Ustad Rashid Khan – the Hindustani classical music exponent – was alive*.

He teamed up with Ekorshi Sengupta to sing Laagi Lagan.

By the way, the latter was the other singer who rendered two songs in the film.

While it was a traditional song, Prabuddha Banerjee was also credited as composer.

Ustad Aman Ali Khan penned it.
