Given that OMG 2 starred Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva’s messenger, and Pankaj Tripathi as a devotee of the Lord, it was appropriate that one of the songs on its soundtrack was titled Har Har Mahadev.
It happened to be the shortest of the four – it was
three minutes and seven minutes long.
The involvement of Vikram Montrose in the song wasn’t restricted
to composing it, but he sang it as well.
If Montrose had his way, he would have written the
song as well.
But the person credited with penning it was Shekhar
Astitwa.
