It wasn’t just the soundtrack of the 1982 film Namak Halaal, but also that of Satyaprem Ki Katha that featured a song titled Raat Baaki.
And everyone who has read my blogs knows that I love
retro numbers, but couldn’t care less about their recreated versions.
Mercifully, this wasn’t one.
But Kumaar penned the track, which was composed and rendered
by the Meet Bros.
They were joined behind the microphone for it by
Monali Thakur and Piyush Mehroliya.
The longest of the seven songs from the film in my
collection, it was five minutes long.
