The second Arijit Singh solo on the soundtrack of Gadar 2 was Khairiyat.
It happened to be
the fifth-shortest of the six tracks from the film in my collection – it was
three minutes and 50 seconds long.
And, as was the
case with Dil Jhoom, this song was also written by Sayeed Quadri, and
composed by Mithoon.
The female
version of the song was sung by Sakshi Holkar.
That track was
just a couple of minutes and 47 seconds long.
In other words,
it was the fourth-shortest of the 17 songs on that film’s soundtrack.
