The most popular song on the soundtrack of Gadar: Ek Prem Katha was Main Nikla Gaddi Leke.
It was sung by
Udit Narayan.
When the makers
of the sequel decided to include a recreated version of it in its
soundtrack, he did the rendering honours again.
And his son,
Aditya Narayan, joined him behind the microphone for it.
The song, which
was three minutes and 51 seconds long, was composed by Uttam Singh (the music
director of the 2001 film) and Mithoon.
Anand Bakshi, who
wrote the song, was credited with penning this version too.
